This project was a graphic design project regarding the creation of a logo for a non profit organization (NPO).
First Karen had to choose what or whom she was interested in helping in the world. Her love for all living things led her to decide to make the non profit organization focused on helping the creatures of the earth.
Next she had to decide on the name of the organization, making sure that it included the idea of the organization as well as making it catchy enough to linger in people’s minds. After all, that is the whole point of a logo; an identity for a group or company as well as a method to seer that identity into people’s minds.
She came up with the idea of LOST.
L.O.S.T. stands for Land, Ocean, Sky, and Turf. It also refers to animals that are not saved; those animals that we refer to as extinct and that are lost from the earth forever. Lets help them before they are lost!
I would like to see this actually become a foundation that Karen has started and am willing to help out. I will donate to the cause and I hope that you will as well.
